From business titans like Apple and Amazon to iconic L.L. Bean, with its inclusion on the Forbes first-ever compilation of America’s Best-in-State companies, Union finds itself in very good company.
Of more than 50,000 companies evaluated, Union was one of just 750 - and one of five from Wyoming - to make the list for 2026.
Among the criteria Forbes used to determine the list makers were customer and employee satisfaction, and company growth.
To be lauded for its customer satisfaction is no surprise - Union’s entire business model is built around exceptional customer service. Customer calls come in without being funneled through an automated phone tree – unheard of for a company supporting over 35,000 customers. In fact, every query from a potential or existing customer, including by text or online chat, begins with a Wyoming or Colorado-based team of care representatives.
Less widely known is the fact that Union consistently ranks above the national average for employee retention. With excellent benefits and policies that encourage employee training and growth, it’s an ideal place to build a career.
“This recognition comes at a time when we continue the expansion of our broadband network and are nearing completion of our new wireless network,” says Brian Woody, Union’s Chief Customer Relations Officer. “With these new builds, our customer experience is only going to improve.”
